- My family springs from a seafaring heritage and I feel the spirit of an old sea captain sometimes inhabits my bones and inspires my nautical artwork. Bridges, lighthouses, beaches, ocean, waterfronts and all sorts of seascapes inspire me and touch some primal nerve in a way nothing else can match.
