Here's an image for someone who loves fishing in the surf, perhaps with a four-legged companion. The soothing colors are offset by the somewhat turbulent waters. But none of that means much to this happy pair who are not bothered by a thing.

There is no need to love fishing to appreciate the upbeat mood created by these stunningly colorful fishing boats. They seem so enthusiatic and that is amplified with their equally colorful reflections. There is a childlike honestly and sense of security these boats convey; there is no storm they fear!

New art featured regularly, courtesy of the artists at Imagekind. Choose prints or framed art and select your own framing and matting.Whatever the season, this scene of the docks and schooner will probably change very little. Seeing the rigging, I can almost hear the creaking of the old masts and the squeaking of the old tire squeezed between the dock and ship. This image captures to pull we feel toward the sea and sailing but also the reality of our land-based lives as the red buildings attest.

There is something calm and reassuring in this image of small boats waiting patiently for their next time to fish. The deep reflections and little shack seem to echo the lapping sound of the waves. This image brings some calm to me when I look at it.

Abstract Sunset is an image that speaks to me in its chaos. There is the possiblity of dark clouds and storms as well as bright sunshine and light color. In its ambiguity one can ponder whether the storm clouds are moving away or closing in. The movement, change and uncertainty shown here reflect the reality of every day.
